The Five Fundamental Themes of Geography

1. Location - Where is it? what is the relative or absolute location?

2. Place - What are the physical and cultural features of this place?

3. Human/environment interaction - How do humans impact on their environment?

4. Movement - How are places connected to each other?

5. Regions - What features make a place unique?
